Wednesday, January 29, 2014 Posted by Megan at 6:14 PM | Labels: celebrity, comedyConfession: I love food.
Eating (and making things to eat) is probably one of my favorite things ever. I know "everything in moderation" and healthy eating and all those lovely things, and I'm in no way discouraging anyone from being a healthy eater and pursuing the food path of their choice. But these days, people are scared to admit or yield to the joy that is food.
Why? Because some people are afraid to love food in a culture that can, at times, be so obsessed with false image and what you look like when you're photoshopped. But I say, if you love food - or anything else, doesn't matter - own it! It's yours to love - what's stopping you? What's everything here for if not for you to love?
So, below are the top ten moments when some funny females who aren't afraid to let their food flag fly, but may they encourage you to love your whatever-it-is out loud too! :)

Girl Asks Her Boyfriend to Formal in the Goofiest Way
Tuesday, January 28, 2014 Posted by Unknown at 11:17 AM | Labels: Amanda, cute, funnyI don't know what it is that's got me thinking about romance this week. Maybe it's the ever-imminent arrival of February, meaning Valentine's Day in a couple short weeks. Maybe I'm just coming across more humorous romance this week than ever, inspiring me to post about funny females' love lives. Whatever the inspiration, I found this goofy video of Miranda, a high schooler, asking her boyfriend to Winter Formal. Too often I hear girl friends talk nervously about asking boys out. Most of the time ladies back out (because of these nerves) and sit around waiting. Miranda, on the other hand, admirably took matters into her own hands! Check out her hilarious video here. Bonus points to whoever has any idea who the random adult with grey hair in the video is. Danny's dad maybe? Here are some shots of Miranda's most creative moments:

She's not only hilarious in movies but in interviews as well. My personal favorite is an interview she did on Ellen. Her "Dance Dare" can be seen in the clip below!
Taylor Swift Dances Like There's Nobody Watching at the Grammys
Monday, January 27, 2014 Posted by Kristina at 9:54 PM | Labels: celebrity, celebs: they're just like us, funny, KristinaThough Taylor Swift did not win a Grammy last night, she definitely wins the award for best dance moves at this year's Grammy Awards! Check out below for my favorite Taylor moments.
After learning of Leighton Meester's first kiss details earlier today, I've been reminded about how much I love this grounded chica. This picture and quote of hers really sum up her open-minded outlook and inspire me to be more accepting of others in my own life.
My roommate finally went on a date with the boy she's been totally crushing on this weekend! While her date went well and she didn't have many silly stories to tell, it got me thinking about first dates, first kisses, and all those funny firsts that can sometimes go not so well or just be plain awkward. I thought I'd turn to some funnier females than myself and share some celeb first kiss stories on this lazy Monday afternoon. It seems these ladies all had pretty different experiences. There's definitely no right or wrong first kiss, and these experiences sometimes are better kept between close family and friends. These celebs were all confident enough to tell their slightly embarrassing childhood stories, so the rest of us feel a little less silly in our own awkward situations.
"I was 16, a guy I knew through friends from school, he was walking me home from the movies, and I honestly was so nervous and couldn’t believe I was getting my first kiss, so I don’t remember much else but turning around and running home." (via ohnotheydidnt)
I recently came across my new favorite hashtag - #CELEBCATS. This genius concept combines images of both celebrities and the cats that look like them. Below are some of my favorite #CELEBCATS moments as viewed on Tiger Beat.

Movies I love - Tina Fey's Admission
Sunday, January 26, 2014 Posted by Kristina at 11:21 AM | Labels: celebrity, comedy, cool, cute, Kristina, moviesThe movie centered around college and one of my favorite scenes was when students at the alternative school were challenging the need to attend college. Tina Fey's character fired back, explaining all of the great things that those with college degrees can accomplish. If you want to change the world, you very well may need a college degree (and maybe even a medical or law degree on top of that)!
I was also super intrigued by the brief, somewhat fictionalized glimpse into the college admissions process. See what a real life Vanderbilt admissions officer has to say about the truths behind the movie here.

She also has been known to crack a dance move or two, dancing along to "Single Ladies," originally performed by Beyonce, more than once for various events. Recently she was featured on Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show to perform "The Evolution of Mom" (seeing the following video).

But don't mistake her funny character for lack of ability. Named as number four on the list of Forbes most powerful women (via Forbes), Michelle Obama has also been deemed a fashion icon by many in the celebrity and fashion circles. And these recognitions are just a start to her long list of accomplishments. During her time as first lady, she has started Lets Move! to help fight childhood obesity and Joining Forces to support members and families of the armed forces (via whitehouse.gov). She is an incredible advocate for childhood health and has recently joined up with Subway to promote inexpensive, healthy eating. In every aspect, she serves as a fantastic role model for anyone hoping to make a difference in the world.
Hilarious and influential, Michelle Obama embodies everything I look for in famous funny females.
Celebs look so stunning on the media. A lot of us love to see them without makeup in their real lives, mostly it may be to seek entertainment from viewing celebs' imperfection which come from boredom and envy, but there is also the beauty of being natural that we like to see. Even without perfectly covered skin, dark eyeliners or mascara, colorful eyes and lips, they still look so gorgeous!(or maybe even more gorgeous?) These are 10 stars who aren't wearing makeup. Who's your favorite?
