iCarly came out when I was about Miranda Cosgrove's age (the star of iCarly), and for awhile it was truly ahead of its time. The story of two teens (one a straight-A, play-by-the-book student, the other a fierce, no-apologies rebel) who start their own blog and rule the Internet as the funniest women on the web, this was one of the first television shows that depicted young females conquering the globe (and their audiences' attention) with nothing but hilarity and some old-fashioned American entrepreneurial spirit.
And they rocked it.
They only grew in popularity as the years went on. More and more celebrities began to guest-star on the show, from Victoria Justice (the current star of Victorious) to One Direction to even the first lady, Michelle Obama.

The show finally retired a couple years ago, and many a tear was shed (by the cast but also probably by Nickelodeon headquarters as a whole). Many episodes are still played on reruns though, so I seriously recommend checking this show out!!
