After a super long week, there's nothing I enjoy more than curling up and watching a light-hearted comedy. That's why I was so excited to see Tina Fey's comedy Admission available online and I just had to watch it immediately!
For those of you haven't seen it yet (I know, it was released all the way back in March!), the movie is about a Princeton University admissions officer who finds herself taking a professional risk when she meets an intelligent but "alternative" student at a progressive school in New Hampshire. She also happens to find romance with a former Dartmouth College classmate. I don't want to ruin the storyline, but of course the movie includes many laugh-out-loud moments!

The movie centered around college and one of my favorite scenes was when students at the alternative school were challenging the need to attend college. Tina Fey's character fired back, explaining all of the great things that those with college degrees can accomplish. If you want to change the world, you very well may need a college degree (and maybe even a medical or law degree on top of that)!

I was also super intrigued by the brief, somewhat fictionalized glimpse into the college admissions process. See what a real life Vanderbilt admissions officer has to say about the truths behind the movie here.
Tell me, what is your dream school?
