An Unexpected Fabulously Funny Female

Michelle Obama may not be the first woman that comes to mind when thinking of funny celebs. However, she most certainly should not be forgotten. In a recent interview, she wittily commented on her relationship with her husband, the President.

“He’s always asking: ‘Is that new? I haven’t seen that before.’ It’s like, Why don’t you mind your own business? Solve world hunger. Get out of my closet.”

She also has been known to crack a dance move or two, dancing along to "Single Ladies," originally performed by Beyonce, more than once for various events. Recently she was featured on Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show to perform "The Evolution of Mom" (seeing the following video).

But don't mistake her funny character for lack of ability. Named as number four on the list of Forbes most powerful women (via Forbes), Michelle Obama has also been deemed a fashion icon by many in the celebrity and fashion circles. And these recognitions are just a start to her long list of accomplishments. During her time as first lady, she has started Lets Move! to help fight childhood obesity and Joining Forces to support members and families of the armed forces (via whitehouse.gov). She is an incredible advocate for childhood health and has recently joined up with Subway to promote inexpensive, healthy eating. In every aspect, she serves as a fantastic role model for anyone hoping to make a difference in the world.
