Comic Relief x Stella McCartney

Sunday, February 16, 2014 |

Comic Relief, one of UK's biggest charities, focuses on raising money to stop poverty world-wide. They target mental health issues, domestic violence, education issues, HIV and malaria, amongst others.

They raise awareness and money through, as their name suggests, FUN THINGS.

Stella McCartney, a fashion designer, paired up with them back in 2009 and again in 2013 to create fun t-shirts to sell and raise funds.

By getting involved with Comic Relief, she combined her passion for fashion and her eagerness to help make a difference. By organizing such a fantastic campaign with famous figures like The Beatles and supermodel Kate Moss, Comic Relief and McCartney show us that the best way to raise awareness about issues and help those in need is through…FUN.

Here are some of McCartney's designs!

To give back in a way that incorporates your interests is the best way to give back. We can all learn from this and use our talents, be it writing poetry and performing it at a show or baking and selling yummy goods or hiking and getting sponsored, to make a change for the better!!!
